We're on our way for some family bonding before the next milestone in my "journey".  We're headed north to our cabin where we'll spend tonight piled together trying to stay warm. The cabin will get toasty in a few hours, but it's not heated when we're not there. So.... Brrrrrrr.  It's okay if we all snuggle  together, it's also pretty nice.  We have spent each weekend before something major was scheduled, surgery, chemo, radiation.... Now surgery again. I'm sure there are plenty of things I could do this weekend to get ready, but all of it will be there Monday.  Family takes priority. 

We packed light and hope to just enjoy the snow, read, make valentines and sleep in. We'll stop at our pizza place in Madison to eat dinner. So all is good in the world. Here's what makes me happy when I go up there: coffee and biscotti in the morning, sweat pants, crafts,  games with kids, watching kids play and having a tasty beer sitting by a fire no matter the weather... In fact, I love sitting outside in the winter if it's in the upper teens or warmer. Love it!!! I also love going for my favorite pizza... Which is only over an hour away!

I'll blog on ride home. I used my phone to create a personal hotspot for my iPad... Cool.
